ER32 Tap Collet

ER collets are used for holding cylindrical shank tools without flats. These collets do not have coolant through capabilities. Mainly has ERG8 ,ERG11,ERG16,ERG20,ERG25,ERG32,ERG40 size.

Assembling er32 tap collet

Insert groove of collet into eccentric ring of the clamping nut at the mark on the bottom of the nut. Push collet in the direction of the arrow until it clicks in place. Screw nut with collet onto tool holder. We recommend tightening the nut with a torque wrench.

Disassembling er32 tap collet

After the nut is unscrewed from the toolholder, press on the face of the collet while simultaneously pushing sideways on the back of the collet opposite the mark until it disengages from the clamping nut.

2. Material:SUJ2 High-carbon bearing steel (After heat treatment, it has rigid hardness and toughness, better grinding quality, good flexibility and longer using life span)

3. HRC: 46°-50°; Taper: 8°; Surface roughness: within RZ2.5;Precision: within 0.01mm

4. No flexibility (No flexible chucking range, it depends on the biggest chucking range). And it can be used with suitable tool holders.
