The R/LSC4.G050.2009 belongs to the Cutoutil SC series solid carbide internal grooving tool range.

It supports groove turning, recessing, back grooving and O‑ring groove machining inside extra‑small bores. It serves as a cost‑effective drop‑in replacement for Sandvik Coromant and Horn small‑bore grooving tools. Existing holders, shims and machine setup data can continue to be used without modification.

Grade and coatingThis tool is kept in stock with TA61 and TD61 carbide grades featuring M6 PVD coating. TA61 is suitable for steel group P and stainless steel group M machining tasks. TD61 is the preferred option for cast iron group K, non‑ferrous group N and high‑temperature alloy group S materials. Both grades come with polished rake face grinding. This design reduces cutting force and prevents built‑up edge during low‑speed small‑bore internal grooving operations.
