Cutoutil Tools has added a new group of small-bore boring and grooving tools to its 2025-2026 programme,
covering bore diameters from 2 mm on solid carbide bodies with shank diameters of 4 mm and 6 mm.
The release covers three product families: internal grooving tools with cutting widths from 0.5 mm to 1 mm, dedicated circlip and retaining-ring grooving tools with 0.78 mm width, and internal boring tools with nose radii of 0.05 mm plus chip-breaker versions for stringy materials.
All items are dimensionally interchangeable with the equivalent Sandvik Coromant and Horn tools. Minimum bore diameter, cutting width, usable length, shank diameter and overall length follow the same catalogue values, so machine operators keep existing holders, sleeves, tool offsets and part programmes when they change brand.
The tools are ground from solid carbide and stocked in the TA61 and TD61 grades with the M6 PVD coating; CB10 is available for hardened and abrasive work. The SC series locating system holds length within ±0.04 mm, radial position within ±0.03 mm and centre height within +0.03 mm, which shortens set-up time on small-part turning machines.
Stock items are shipped within one week. Non-standard cutting widths, radii, usable lengths and contour profiles are ground to drawing within three weeks, which is the service the company is best known for in the aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, hydraulic and precision engineering sectors.
