For each material and hardness combination, we provide specific cutting speeds and feed rates to ensure efficient and precise cutting. The parameters are categorized based on the diameter of the cutter (D1.0 to D20.0).

Maximum Cutting Depths

For optimal performance and tool life, it's crucial to adhere to the recommended maximum cutting depths. These depths vary based on the cutter diameter and the material being cut.

For ae ≤ 3.0mm: ap = 0.15D for materials up to HRC30, increasing to ap = 0.25D for harder materials (HRC45-50).

For ae > 3.0mm: ap = 0.25D for materials up to HRC30, increasing to ap = 0.10D for harder materials (HRC45-50).

Recommendations for Initial Use

Trial Cutting: Begin with cutting speeds and feed rates at 50% of the recommended values. Gradually increase these parameters once the cutting conditions are stable.

Tool Holding: Use high-precision, high-stiffness tool holders with good dynamic balance. If tool runout exceeds 0.01mm, improve the setup before proceeding with cutting.
